Are Vespa Turn Signal Lights Supposed To Blink?

Husband bought me a Vespa to play around with and the signal lights turn on, but don't blink. Are they supposed to blink? Or is this how Italian motorscooter are manufactured? When you turn the turn signal on it just lights up solid.

they blink its just a bad earth i think i have found that the back panel earth rod that holds it on at the back of the panel rusts easy scrape with Emery paper that should help
Try starting the engine, it may be that your battery’s flat. If it hasn’t got enough juice in the battery the indicators will come on but won’t flash.
yes dear they blink you may have a bad ground but if it lights then thats not the prob the flasher may be bad look ta that too
