after two orders and returns for another helmet company, i was especially pleased to finally come across a helmet that actually fit me like a helmet should. it is january in montana, so i won't be able to actually test the helmet out for a few more months, but i'm not worried about it's performance (plus the only way to actually know if any helmet truly works is to take a spill). so if i lay my bike down anytime time soon, i'll re-write this review, which shouldn't be a problem, since i'll have this kick-ass helmet to protect my noggin'!

I ride a scooter to work which is about 5-8 miles, my little helmet with no shield was just too cold during the early spring months (I am normally only a fair weather rider). I bought this helmet and it works great, the shield is really clear and it keeps me warm. The only bad part about this helmet is that it makes a whistling sound where the shield hinges onto the helmet, but not bad.
Way too big.

This helmet is huge. Like the external size. Bigger than most full motorcycle helmets. Looks ridiculous on a scooter/moped.

The seller of this item is getting a bad rap because of his supplier and he does nothing about it. The size XL helmetI received was no more than a medium, if that. I sent it back and heard no more from the retailer. I also ordered a pair of leather pants from this same supplier in size 44 so that they would be big enough to fit over my regular pants. What I got was a size 36 that was marked as a 44. I sent the pants back and never heard another word from this same retailer. I hate to mess up a guys business, but this is totally unacceptable. Lots of money wasted on shipping wrong sized items back and forth

We purchased the XXL for my husband's big head. I am tall also (5'9"), and the helmet fits me well. I think it must run small.

The strap is not a "snap strap"--if you've used helmets before it will be easy for you to adjust. My husband thought the visor plastic was "wavy" to look through until I pointed out to him that he forgot to take off the protective plastic sheet!

You can't hear people talk or other things well while wearing this helmet. I thought about lowering the score because of that, but I was aware of this before I purchased, so it is no surprise.

I believe we purchase the perfect helmet for our scooter.

Very pleased with this product; the first helmut I purchased with my new Vespa cost nearly five times what I paid for this helmut. Sizes tend to be a bit smaller so be careful when measuring for fit. If measured properly, helmut fits well and is very comfortable (amply padded); it appears no compromises have been made in spite of the competitive cost. Note: Don't forget to peel off the thin transparent film applied at the factory before using (on my first outing there appeared to be distortions in the plastic face guard which were in fact the result of the film); once corrected the view through the guard is clear and undistorted.

The order was shipped promptly with no problems. The helmet sizes do tend to run a little snug, so go bigger rather than small if your measurement is borderline.
