I am a college student and parking is crazy where I'm going so I am gonna get a motor scooter. I will be riding it on a busy street and using it to and from campus. I would like to get a motor scooter where I can do most of the maintenance and is reliable.

I'm thinking on buying a IL bello Fly scooter. I know it is a chinese brand.

But I'm trying to find what my options are thanks and if anyone has an opinion on fly scooter or any other types

my 250cc roteka motor scooter will not hold charge when i am riding it, it has a new battery. it stays charged when it just sits onl goes down when i ride it.

its big like motorcycle size but its a motor scooter. how do i start it. ive turned the key and twisted the right handle but nothing happens the only way i can even tell its on is becuase the fuel thing goes from the off spot to how much gas i have. i know it works becuase the guy i bought it from rode it over, i just never asked how to start it

I have a 150 Avanti motor scooter...starts and runs good untill it get hot! The starts cutting out and missing...and is very hard to get started again..and keeps dieing. Dealer has replaced plug twice and adjusted carb to a richer setting..to no avail. Is it a gas flow problem or a spark problem? Seems the worse after pulling a steep hill. Any one have any suggestions?

Does anyone know a good dealership in Saint Louis, MO or the surrounding area (within 30 miles please) to buy a motor scooter? I'm not looking for a motorcycle or a moped, just a motor scooter. I only know about VespaStl, but I was hoping for a more low-key place that sales used scooters or less well-known ones. I'd really appreciate any help.

I have a suspended drivers license. The SOS says that if you are suspended you can't drive a motor scooter/moped. My question is have ever heard of anyone being pulled over on a motor scooter and getting in trouble for driving on a suspended. I had heard that if you are under 50cc you didn't need a license but that must not apply if you have been suspended.

What do you all think, worth the risk? Are cops really concerned about moped drivers and whether they are licensed. Have you ever seen a moped pulled over?

I have a 2007 400 Schwinn motor scooter. It's been running fine since Christmas. Now, I accidentally charged it in ON mode. It will turn on and it says Full on the battery gauge. But it wont go when I turn the handle. How can I make it work? I didn't permanitly break it did I?
The warrenty is up in four days so i could bring it in!

Last summer I bought a yamaha vino 125, mostly because it gets 70 mpg.

I assume it also helps reduce greenhouse emissions, but does it really? Does a motor scooter burn gasoline as clean as my Honda Civic?

My son was given a motor scooter (49cc) that's small and I was wondering whether he was allowed to ride it without a driver's license. Is it okay if he drives around since it's not really a car.
