I have a 12v battery and i just bought a battery charger for it. On the battery charger it offers 2 and 10 amp. I am not sure which one to choose since the battery is really dead. Which one should i choose and how long should i leave it on there for? Btw the battery is for an electric motor scooter and when i connect the battery to the power source, the green light comes on saying it is working but when apply the throttle the motor doesnt spin what should i do?????

I have a 2007 Classic 50cc motor scooter. It is well out of warranty and I want to make some modifications to make it faster. The Classic 4 stroke has an RPM restricted CDI and I need to make it unrestricted to take full advantage of the modifications. Which color wire on the CDI limits the RPM . Thanks.
