And what is the largest bike that you can drive with only a driver's licence? And can you drive a scooter/vespa with only a motorbike licence (without a driver's licence)? I'm too young now, but I want to know so I can start saving up for my dream Vespa. [:

You have to be 16 years 9 months to sit your learner rider test. In New South Wales you cannot ride any motorcycle/scooter without a motorcycle licence, but you can get a MC licence without having a drivers licence. The bikes available for L plate riders is wide and varied, but if your interested in a Vespa you’ll have no problem with that as they tend to be 250cc or less. The second link as the bikes you allowed
